The Examined Life: How We Lose and Find Ourselves by Stephen Grosz

June 21, 2020

Carefully-written patient and personal stories from a relatable psychotherapist.

A friend mailed the paperback after it inspired personal breakthroughs, and I’m not sure how anyone could read this and not take away at least a handful of meaningful subjects for reflection.

The stories are told with great care even when there’s pain or drama involved, and always with clarity and purpose.

Highly recommended, especially if you’re the kind of person that’s eager to scrutinize your own behavior and motivations.
