Challenge
The upcoming Craft CMS 3.7 release would change a user-facing workflow with a notably bumpy history, and very careful improvements needed to be conveyed as clearly as possible to developers and content authors.
Steps Taken
- Developed a proof of concept for incorporating simple motion graphics into any Knowledge Base article.
- Led design and production of motion graphics from Figma comps to rendered Apple Motion output.
- Developed and launched a custom Vimeo player for Knowledge Base articles.
- Published the final article with its supporting animations.
Result
The resulting article visually demonstrated the new changes, received positive community feedback, contributed to a smooth rollout, and added a new feature for Knowledge Base articles that could be leveraged again in the future.
