We Are Never Meeting in Real Life.: Essays by Samantha Irby

A breathless, hilarious collection of observation, reflection, wit, and raw honesty.

I laughed my way through Samantha Irby's New York Times article about complaining and knew I had to read her book. I wasn't prepared for the vulgarity or frequent use of all caps, but her wit, sense of humor, and courage to be (presumably) raw and honest kept me reading and laughing and wincing all the way through. If coping with a sense of humor is an art form, I think Samantha Irby has mastered it with unflinching bravery.
