I've liked Trevor Noah's standup and now I'm in awe of his story. His ability to write candidly and relatably for someone clueless about life in South Africa is one thing, and the scope and intensity of his formative challenges is another. I plowed through the entire heartbreaking, inspiring, and sometimes shocking story, and appreciated the balance of humor and sincerity he maintained throughout. I'm also grateful for a glimpse of his mother's profound strength and unfailing sense of humor. Amazing.
