We’re All Damaged by Matthew Norman

September 25, 2016

Occasionally poignant, mostly entertaining midwestern family drama.

Another of my free Kindle First choices, I blew right through this and enjoyed it. I jumped in without knowing whether it was fiction, and only two things had me leaning that way until the very end: the author’s remarkably casual-yet-efficient descriptive ability, and a few overly-convenient aspects of the plot and one particular character.
